A Special Choral Concert by Psalmideo Choral

Serenade is a music concert conceptualised for the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition. This  special performance offering by the Psalmideo Choral  hopes to touch on feelings and imagined memories through music. Enjoy the serenade of voices and embrace the experience on board the first class exhibition journey.

PsalmiDeo Chorale is composed of Singapore-based Filipino professionals, brought together by their passion for singing and their love for choral music. The group of 30-strong members, which started out in church choir in 2002, is currently under the musical direction of Kiko Dimalanta. The choir performed in a sold-out concert entitled “Behind the Scenes’ at the Singapore Concert Hall (SCH) in October 2011. The chorale’s other concert credits include “Celebrate Christmas” at The Esplanade, and “Seasons in Song” with Babes Conde at the Singapore Arts House. The group has also performed at the Kallang Theatre, the Singapore Arts Museum, the Asian Civilizations Museum, and at various official functions organised by the Philippine Embassy.

Solo Opera Performance by Ana Feleo, A Music Concert

18 & 19 February 2012, Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 p.m.

Bringing in the tides of emotion through her voice, Ana Feleo will be performing a two-night solo concert with arias inspired by the Titanic voyage. Audiences will be transported into a musical experience as part of their visit to the Titanic exhibition.

Ana Guillen Feleo, A Lyric Soprano, received her education at the College of Music, University of the Philippines under the tutelage of Professor Emeritus Fides Cuyugan- Asensio. She has recently returned from her rigid vocal training in Juilliard School of Music under W. Stephen Smith. She has performed in numerous oratorios, concerts, operas and musicals under production companies. Ana has represented her country as a classical performer for the Philippine Embassies and Diplomatic Corps in numerous concerts and music arts festivals in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, The United Kingdom, Spain, Monaco, France, Vietnam, Brunei, China, Germany and Netherlands.

Steven Lim's "Global Warming"

Museum Rendezvous aims to engage the audiences of the ArtScience Museum in a dialogue reflecting the crossings between art and science. For its third edition, Museum Rendezvous: will explore the theme “To Set Sail” in response to the current Titanic: the Artifact Exhibition. Panelists comprise of Steven Lim, a ship designer turned artist; Elizabeth de Roza, theatre practitioner; and Captain Warren Blake, a sailor/adventurer. The guest speakers, who have a very special relationship with boats, will share their personal journeys that allowed them to set sail.

This public forum is co-organised by Belarmino&Partners for the Marina Bay Sands ArtScience Museum.
