Flower Drop is a performance by Danish artist Molly Haslund, reimagined as a duet with renowned Filipina choreographer Ea Torrado for its Philippine debut. Set in the bustling streets of the old walled city of Intramuros, Manila, the performers will navigate public spaces along General Luna Street and the Manila Cathedral, dressed in grey sundresses and carrying a giant bouquet. Their faces and shoulders obscured by flowers, Haslund and Torrado will capture the attention of passersby. Occasionally, they will drop a flower, seemingly unnoticed, prompting pedestrians to pick it up and return it. In exchange, the performers will offer the flower as a token of gratitude, transforming a routine moment into an intimate act of kindness.
Originally presented in June 2021 at Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art in Copenhagen, Flower Drop creates a poetic and emotional experience, turning city streets into a stage and inviting the public to engage with art in unexpected ways.

Mobile Mirrors is a performance featuring one or more mannequins, each clad in a mosaic of mirror shards. The mirrors are fragmented and scattered across the body. Typically, one looks into a mirror, but in this case, the person inside the mobile mirror suit can only reflect others and, to some extent, their surroundings—never themselves.
For the Philippine edition, Cuenca Rasmussen will collaborate with six dancers from the Daloy Dance Company to create an artistic intervention. The performance will begin at Raja Sulaiman Park on Roxas Boulevard and proceed along Manila Bay, followed by a trail of onlookers. This 1.5-kilometre Mobile Mirrors procession will culminate at CCP Liwasang Kalikasan, offering a visually captivating experience for the audience and to those driving across the streets alike.

Breathing Beings is a new performance work by Sophie Dupont, developed specifically for the Philippines. This piece explores themes of connection and balance through the act of collective breathing, focusing on its cultural significance and how it grounds people in the present moment. Breathing links the past and future, connecting individuals with their surroundings. Collaborating with Filipina choreographer and dancer Christine Crame, Dupont invites audiences to turn their attention inward, centering on their breath. Set at the CCP ASEAN Park, the artists will guide visitors to focus on this simple yet profound act of breathing. Breathing Beings extends Dupont’s ongoing research into finding common ground with others, while also highlighting the essential process of life—breathing—inviting reflection on the shared human experience.

Magic is a new performance by Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen, centered on the exploration and manipulation of numbers. Over a 3-hour durational process, the artist uses chalk to mark concrete surfaces, visualizing palindromes—numbers that mirror themselves. Despite self-identifying as "number blind," which makes working with numerics a significant challenge, Rasmussen's fascination with palindromes drives her persistence and curiosity throughout the performance. The artist invites public participation, encouraging viewers to engage with her as she navigates the complex yet mesmerizing world of mirrored numbers.

BUNK is a performance about longing, intimacy, and the passage of time—of wanting to be older when young, and yearning for youth when older. It follows three characters over a series of sleepless nights, where they can't see or hear each other. In solitude, they speak to themselves, creating new realities and escapes: a blanket becomes a rope, and a blue duvet turns into a swimming pool. Sexual fantasies blend with anxious thoughts and childhood memories, floating between sleep and consciousness. The piece explores imagined childhoods, queer temporalities, sleepless nights, and the experience of multiple puberties. Originally developed during a residency at Hollufgård Gæsteatelier, BUNK will evolve further in partnership with Filipino contemporary artists Jeremy Mayores, Kyle Confesor and Sasa Cabalquinto for its presentation in the Philippines.

Mis United is the embodiment of an ideal—an imagined Miss Universe. She represents everyone and everything, yet in doing so, becomes utterly misshapen. Her ever-changing identity is expressed through a bombastic, multi-layered costume, which she sheds piece by piece, revealing new personas as the music shifts between contrasting genres. As Mis United undresses, she adapts seamlessly to a world in constant transformation. Each new layer brings a striking contrast: from a woman in a burka to a seductive she-devil. The performance highlights the tension between fluidity and fragmentation, showing how the quest for adaptability can sometimes lead to losing oneself. In this bold performance, Mis United raises questions about identity, conformity, and the pressures of constantly transforming to meet society's ideals. Her exaggerated transformations mirror the world’s expectations of women and people in general to embody conflicting roles and identities.

Infinite is a participatory performance that invites a community to walk together on the beachfront of La Union, marking its Asian premiere. First performed in Denmark in 2023, this iteration features Danish artist Haslund and Filipina choreographer Ea Torrado as they lead participants in walking a 100-metre infinity path in front of Leeroy New’s Mebuyan installation.
In Denmark, Haslund transformed a simple infinity sign into a living artwork, animated by the footsteps of participants. Hundreds of locals joined, turning the walk into a shared, evolving sculpture. In La Union, Infinite will retain this essence, while embracing Filipino traditions of unity and cooperation, reflecting the spirit of sama-sama and bayanihan.
The infinity symbol, representing endless connection and continuity, invites community members to actively participate, making this collective journey a celebration of togetherness and cultural connection.

InSitu, Performance as Exhibition, The Philippine Edition brings the power of performance to a transformative exhibition format, using the body as the primary medium to present art in the public space. This initiative focuses on the shared presence of the artists and the audiences set against the backdrop of the urban and rural environments in the Philippines.
Organised by Belarmino&Partners in collaboration with the Cultural Center of the Philippines, and supported by the New Carlsberg Foundation and Danish Arts Foundation, the exhibition is curated by Vanini Belarmino. It will feature 8 works by Danish visual and performance artists Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen, Molly Haslund, Sophie Dupont and Filip Vest along with choreographer Kai Merke. These artists will collaborate with Filipino choreographers, performers, and multidisciplinary artists, including Christine Crame, Daloy Dance Company, Ea Torrado, Jeremy Mayores, Kyle Confesor, and Sasa Cabalquinto.

The performances, scheduled for October 15-26, 2024, will unfold in iconic outdoor locations such as Mount Makiling in Los Baños, the shores of La Union, and notable Manila sites like the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Intramuros, and the Manila Metropolitan Theater.

In March 2008, after receiving the collaboration grant from the Japan Foundation through Performing Arts Japan Europe to realise the project ZENSORS, Belarmino&Partners was set-up with a vision of creating innovative framework for artistic exchanges that can change perspectives. The company commits itself to the development of process-oriented and interdisciplinary initiatives by working in different parts of the world.
Belarmino&Partners aims to contribute to the understanding of peoples and continued development of the arts profession through the establishment of sustainable projects.

The Filipino word Mag-anak is both a noun and a verb, which translates to ‘family’, ‘to bear children, to reproduce’ or ‘to be a sponsor (godparent) at a wedding, baptism, or confirmation. It sets the tone for the homecoming exhibition of Danish Filipina artist, Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen in the cosy town of Lucban, Quezon.
Featuring a selection of works by the artist involving her immediate family members, Mag-Anak wishes to invite the public to imagine, reflect and think about their own notion of how a family looks like.
The exhibition is jointly organised by Belarmino&Partners and Project Space Pilipinas with support from the Danish Arts Foundation. It will be on view from 20 June-21 July 2023.
